Norfolk Airport is open, safe and offers a variety of service options. Six major airlines provide convenient access to hundreds of destinations.
What You Can Do
Arrive Early
We’re recommending that travelers arrive 90 minutes before their flight time to allow for check in and security screening.
Print Boarding Pass
Consider printing your boarding pass at home or using a mobile boarding pass to limit touch points.
Wear Face Coverings
All individuals entering the Norfolk Airport terminals must wear a face covering. If you do not have one, a mask will be provided to you free of charge.
Wash Hands Frequently
The CDC recommends washing your hands after coming into contact with any item or surface that may be frequently touched by other people.
Practice Social Distancing
Practice six-foot social distancing while in the vicinity of other travelers in the airport terminals.
What We’re Doing
We’ve taken a number of measures to ensure that your travel experience is safe and clean.
Free Masks
Since masks are required for all individuals in terminal buildings, Norfolk Airport is providing free masks at the Information Center in the main lobby. Airlines are providing masks along with safety amenity kits onboard the aircraft.
Hand Sanitizer Dispensers
We have made additional hand sanitizer dispensers available in the terminals and are encouraging travelers to use them often.
Plastic Shields
High-traffic areas – like ticketing counters and TSA security checkpoints – now have plastic shields installed.
Social Distancing
Floor decals have been placed in the security checkpoints and airline gates where lines form to instruct travelers to keep 6 feet of distance between them and the next individual.
Health & Safety Reminders
Throughout the terminals and concourses, we have posted health & safety reminders and instructions.
Flights to Major Hubs Daily
